Amy Van Dyken Rouen
Amy Van Dyken Rouen is a 6-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming. Born and raised in Colorado, she won 4 gold medals at the 1996 Summer Olympics making her the first American woman to accomplish that feat and the winningest gold medalist, male or female, in 1996. She went on to win two more gold medals at the 2000 Summer Games.
Named by Swimming World Magazine as the Swimmer of the Year in 1995 and 1996. She is also in the International Swimming Hall of Fame and the United States Olympic Hall of Fame.
Since retiring from swimming, she has cohosted a sports radio show and been an NFL sideline reporter. She is married to former two-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Rouen. In 2014, she was injured in an ATV accident.
Van Dyken works as a broadcaster calling swimming for NBC Sports during the Summer Olympics as well as for the ACC and Pac 12 Networks.
