SGE (Special Government Employee) Training
(Saturday, August 9 – Sunday, August 10)
The Special Government Employee (SGE) Program was designed to give Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Participants the unique opportunity to work alongside OSHA to conduct onsite VPP evaluations, as well as review applications, reapprovals, and self-assessments. By becoming an SGE, you gain access to a network of EHS&S professionals unlike any other. In addition, you have the opportunity to best practices in action and share your knowledge with others in the community as well.

Scholarship Golf Tournament (Monday, August 11)
Join your fellow safety professionals for a friendly round of golf to support the VPPPA scholarship program. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting four annual $3,500 scholarships awarded to students pursing a degree or certificate in EHS. Snacks and beverages will be provided on the course, and we’ll wrap up with an awards luncheon, thanking everyone for their support and poking a little fun at the day’s outcome.
5K Fun Run/ Walk (Monday, August 11 7-8am)
Whether you’re a seasoned marathon runner, or just looking for a leisurely walk while you watch the mountain sunrise, this 5K fun run/walk is the perfect reason to get outside and enjoy some fresh air. Start your day refreshed and ready to make the most of the sessions to come.
St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Game (Tuesday, August 12 6:30pm – 9:30pm)
