Journey Toward Safety Excellence: The Roadmap to Success

Attendees will take from this deep dive session a roadmap they can use at their sites for continuous progression toward VPP-level performance including an understanding of core components of a world-class safety & health program, the importance of employee involvement in mentorship, and how to conduct an annual program evaluation.

MOC Escape Room Game

In this deep dive session, attendees will play a virtual escape room game that encourages critical thinking, attention to detail and team building to learn key components of Management of Change (MOC) and how to prevent hazards though MOC.

Mastering the Fundamentals of Safety Management

The path to excellence begins with complete mastery of the fundamentals. In this deep dive session, attendees will learn how to teach safety with new methods of employee training that have proven highly effective and how to implement the CIRCLE method to achieve true continuous improvement of the unsafe conditions in their facilities.

Power Skills for Emerging Leaders

In today’s quickly changing workplace, technical skills alone are no longer enough to advance new leaders toward on-going success. “Power skills” (what used to be called “soft skills”) are what set leaders apart to influence, innovate, and drive meaningful change. In this deep dive session, attendees learn how their personality style influences communication how to continuously improve their power skill development.

VPP Application Workshop

This deep dive session led by representatives from OSHA and VPP sites is tailored toward worksites interested in applying to the VPP through OSHA, OSHA State-Plan or DOE. Attendees will learn how to put together a VPP application, review successful samples applications and learn best practices on completing an application.

MEWP Safety Culture Lab: From eLearning to Hands-On Competency

This immersive training experience provides attendees with complete ANSI A92-compliant MEWP operator training on safety, hazard recognition, and regulatory requirements. The course includes a pre-event self-paced online session that culminates at Safety+ with a hands-on use of scissor lifts with a competency assessment and opportunity to earn an internationally recognized MEWP 3A Operator Card.
